About ICC Region VII Chapter
ICC Region VII is a regional chapter of the International Code Council (ICC) that includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington DC, and West Virginia. We are committed to advancing professionalism in code enforcement by supporting and fostering the education and certification of code officials, plan reviewers, and inspectors. We partner with the ICC to regionalize services, thereby strengthening support for state and local chapters and streamlining the code change process.
Our mission is to promote the health, safety, and welfare of all people in building occupancy and construction, while maintaining high professional and ethical standards in building design and construction through code enforcement. We strive to build strong relationships within the construction industry, with design professionals, and other stakeholders.
